We guarantee all of our services, if you are not happy with your service we will do everything to fix what you are not happy about. Although:


If you have had a colour/Relaxing/Straightening/curling service:

1 must not be a “fix” up from another salon or home job

2 must not be using supermarket brand products

3 must be using a salon range of products - Preferably L’Oreal Professionnel

4 must not have shampooed your hair with-in 48 hrs before or after the service

5 must have called & come back in with-in 7 days of the service, otherwise full cost of the service will be charged

If you have had a chemical service we do have the right to charge for product or service’s for any re-service


If you have had a cutting service:

1 must not be fixing up a home job or another salon’s mistake

2 must have had a blow-dry

3 must have called & come back in with-in 7 days of the service otherwise full cost of the service will be charged.


Exception: if you have requested a service with our: Apprentice/Private hairdressing students we unfortunately Cannot guarantee these services, due to the experience of these Stylists.

We will though be happy to fix any problems that there maybe, but would not be able to refund any money/monies exchanged.

With Colour Services completed by Jnr Stylists an extra charge will apply for colours if fixed/redone by a Senior Stylist or Executive Stylist and may apply for cutting services.

Apprentice Services will always be checked by an experienced stylist before you leave.

Please note all advertised discounts exclude Junior Stylist Services.

We guarantee all of our products, so if you are not happy with your product that you purchased from us, let us know & we will exchange it for another product

How-ever:

1 Must be using product/s as prescribed

2 Must not be using a mix of other brands

3 Products must be more than ¾ full.

4 We will only exchange products in our salon. (no refunds)

5 Brush’s, hair nets, combs are non refundable due to health & safety

6 ghd styling iron’s are non refundable, once the styler has left the salon, we cannot refund or exchange the irons, due to the high level of fake/counterfeit stylers.

7 if you find a lower price advertised for any of the retail stock that we stock, we will match it! All you have to do is bring in the flyer, coupon etc. But it must be current, in date, only available with products we sell, excludes bulk purchase’s, online stores /items or clearance items. Will be subject to our discretion.


If you have had a facial:

1 must be using home care products from Shear Image to maintain your skin in-between facials (Thalgo)

2 must not “pick” at imperfections


With all services we have the right to only just refund the service minus cost of product/s used or charge for extra product & time used.


With All Chemical Services a Skin Patch Test MUST be completed 48hrs before your appointment this includes all hair colours, perms, straightening, eyelash tinting & eyebrow tinting. These are the terms and conditions ("the terms") governing the use of this website ("the Website") and any promotions, services or offers, literature and pricing within the salon which is wholly owned by Image Counts Pty Ltd trading as Shear Image Hair & Beauty ("the Company"). These terms apply to each user and/or visitor to the Website and where appropriate to the salon and are governed by English law. Where website is read also read salon where applicable.

All clients are required to undertake a skin test at least 48 hours prior to any colour or skin treatments that we may provide.

Shear Image Hair & Beauty wishes to ensure that products and treatments used within the salon do not provide any adverse affects to customers and so for certain services for example hair colouring we ask that every client takes a skin test at least 48 hours prior to the service being undertaken.

We strive to introduce new products through the year and even though you may have been tested before successfully we ask that you consider asking us every 6 months to repeat the tests for your own well being. Prior to undertaking the test or should you wish to indemnify us should you wish not to take the test we require that you read, understand and sign a disclaimer form. Available on this site or in salon.

1. A pre-treatment skin test is a precautionary measure intended to reduce, although not deemed to remove, the risk of an adverse reaction both during &/or following a skin test or more intense exposure

2. It is possible that a pre-treatment skin test may induce sensitisation to a substance and/or procedure on any occasion

3. When a client attends an appointment to receive either an appropriate pre-treatment skin test the client is deemed to accept the risk of an adverse reaction

4. When a complimentary pre-treatment skin test is not planned and received at this salon within the recommended period, and for whatever reason, your stylist shall deem the client to have performed an appropriate generic skin sensitivity test and within the recommended period. It should be noted that a skin test, conducted by a professional, is recommended and more likely to be accurate.

5. When a client books and then proceeds to receive any service that may or may not require a pre-treatment skin test, the stylist shall deem the client as having accepted that there are risks involved.

6. The risk that an individual, with hypersensitivity (known or unknown), takes when receiving a hair dye or colour sensitivity skin test and/or more intense exposure is the consequential reaction such as, but not limited to, the appearance of welts, short of breath, itching, redness, eczema, pain, swelling and/or burns

Any pricing information shown is "From Pricing" and additional charges may result due to prolonged time to complete the service or very long or complex hair services.

Any promotional material remains the property of the Company and offers may be withdrawn or changed at any time.

Any discounts, offers whether to individuals, firms, colleges, clubs or the like maybe withdrawn or refused without notice at any time. If gift vouchers or discount vouchers are purchased then multiple values of these can be attributed to one person. Should they not be purchased but given away perhaps as part of a promotion then specifically only one voucher per person per treatment or service will be allowed.

Vouchers must not be copied in any form and not defaced. If Shear Image has any doubt as to their validity we may refuse to accept them.

Further terms may be applicable as printed on the voucher.

Customer Loyalty schemes and rewards can only be accepted if the items asked for are complete and in tact and unspoiled with the correct content and they must be originals and not duplicated in any way.

Any discount offers made and where appropriate, can only be made if correct identification is provided by the client when arriving at the salon. Such identification will have been specified at the offer stage.

PROPRIETOR AND PROPRIETARY INFORMATION Information on this Website is the property of the Company. The materials contained in this site are protected by copyright law. The contents of the Website are available to any user and/or visitor for personal reference only and may not be reproduced in any manner whatsoever either in whole or in part without the prior written permission of the Company, its authorised agents or representatives.
